Your faces. Your data. Your control.
Biometric data is sensitive, so protection is built into every layer — from the kiosk at the gate to the report on the principal's desk.
Security by design, not as an add-on
Matching on the device
Faces are matched on the kiosk itself. Face templates are numbers made from a photo — not the photo — and are stored encrypted.
Encrypted in transit and at rest
All traffic between kiosks, browsers and the server uses HTTPS. Face templates and contact details are encrypted when stored.
Right access for the right person
Admins sign in with a one-time code; staff get only the modules they need, at View or Manage level. Sensitive tools need special permission.
Every change is recorded
Who added, edited or deleted what, and when — members, attendance, devices, users and settings — in a searchable audit log.
Protected kiosks
Each kiosk is registered and signs in with its own credentials; repeated wrong attempts are locked out. Optional location fence and auto app-lock.
Separate data for every institution
Each college, school or office sees only its own members and records. Integrations get the attendance log only — never photos or face data.
Tools to respect every person's rights
India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act gives people the right to know, correct and erase their data. FaceBiometric gives the institution the tools to do it.
- Consent — record when a member (or guardian) agreed to face attendance
- Access — download everything stored about a member in one file
- Erasure — remove a member's personal data, face data and photos
- Minimum retention — scan photos delete themselves after 30 days; optional automatic removal of face data of members who left
Consent recorded
Track who has given consent and who hasn't yet.
Data download
Profile, attendance and leave history in one package.
Right to erasure
Personal data removed; anonymous counts keep old reports correct.
Security & privacy FAQ
Do you store photos of our students and staff?
A registration photo is kept so the face can be re-checked, and — only if your institution switches it on — a small photo with each scan, which is deleted automatically after 30 days. Matching itself uses an encrypted face template.
Who can see face data and photos?
Only signed-in administrators of your own institution with the right permission. Photos are never available through a public link, and the API for your other software never includes them.
What happens if a kiosk phone is lost?
Disable it from the admin panel — it can no longer sync or download members. The app is protected by its own lock, and each kiosk needs its own credentials to connect.
Can we get all our data out?
Yes. Reports export to PDF, Excel and CSV, a single member's data can be downloaded in one file, and your own software can pull the attendance log through the API.
Why don't you publish every technical detail?
We describe what we protect and how you stay in control. Specific internal configuration is intentionally kept private, as good security practice. If you need more for a compliance review, contact us.
How do I report a security concern?
Write to us from the contact page with the subject "Security". We look into every report and reply as soon as possible.
